FM GRU Tower Cranes were established in the year 1920. This family run business, FMgru, is found in the largest industrial location within northern Italy. During the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in constructing pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, different kinds of forklifts, presses, prefabrication molds and farming machinery.
During 1963, the company began crane production. The business eventually invested all of their financial resources and human resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the field of lifting.
