End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are common in the material handling business for their great flexibility. These machines have superior performance characteristics that are somewhat comparable to sit-down electric lift truck models.
These lift truck units are great for warehouse settings which have limited space. The space required to use these machines are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck requirements. These machines are an ideal alternative for applications that need frequent off and on access, as their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading device utilized by various businesses that maintain a storage facility involving the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and materials that are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and simple retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great choice for people who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need yet in a way which is both efficient and safe.
All standard reach truck units would have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the equipment. Telescoping tines are mounted to the out-rigging and could move up and down. The blades also include a hydraulic setup which enables the operator to pick up the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only gives a lot more balance to the overall load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
After the reach truck finds the shelves that are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the tines to swing into place and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Normally, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
