Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklift units are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck providing versatility and great height. The arm, or crane, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the operator to maintain a high degree of control while raising the cargo to great heights. Regular forklifts aren't able to move the load away from and towards the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift can allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually utilized in construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater control and lift is necessary.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are better in situations requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which enable the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It is available with a backrest which protects the loads from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This type of system is handy for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A lift platform that is meant to hoist staff is referred to as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forklift forks and a strap or chain is used to attach the basket to the lift truck carriage. The platform has railings to protect the employees from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
