Linamar Corporation, referred to as LNR on the TSX, purchased Skyjack in the month of August the year 2002. Linamar is best known for its production of assemblies, modules and precision-machined components. Linamar's solid balance sheet offers Skyjack with long-term stability and increased strength in general. Skyjack currently has production facilities within the United States, San Diego and Hungary with support offices in Asia and Europe.

The company offers a comprehensive line of self-propelled scissor lifts. Some models have elevated work heights up to 56ft. Skyjack became a leader in the business by offering machine features that combined durability, serviceability, quality and service, making Skyjack scissor lifts known throughout the globe for product dependability. The company's existing Boom lift model lineup consists of telescopic booms. These models provide telescopic booms which feature work heights varying from 45 to 71 feet. The company intends further expand the boom lift product line in the future.

In August 2007, the purchase of Volvo's Material Handling Equipment business complements the purchase of Carelift Equipment. This business purchase expands Skyjack's Telehandler product offering causing the additional VR series telehandlers and the Zoom Boom series. These acquisitions provide the company a chance to grow with the additional manufacturing capacity. Skyjack continues to lead the way within the industry, providing dependable lift solutions.
