Heavy Forklifts
With their new series of heavy forklift trucks, Hyundai is aiming for a new customer base. Various businesses, from the natural stone and concrete businesses, to the steel industry, the railway sector and the transportation of heavy goods in the ports are all depending on and working with heavy duty equipment. The power and efficiency provided by the units keep operational costs low and offer the best conditions for efficient work. These machines can excel in the most tough environments.
The Cummins diesel engines ranging from 162 horse-power to 250hp offers the necessary power on all of the large capacity units. TierIII emission standards are met with engines that have 6 cylinders. These types of forklifts are able to take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It provides for a high climbing ability on rough terrain and steep slopes and provides great acceleration as well.
The operator is able to utilize a switch in order to select 1 of 2 driving modes. When in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on tough terrain or heavy loads. In the "STP" mode, the trucks could save lots of fuel during light-duty work. Furthermore, simply by pressing a switch, the operator could automatically maintain a selected speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is an added fuel saving feature. The forklift's fully automatic transmission gently shifts through the gears, making the machine simple to maneuver and comfortable to utilize.
A spacious and comfortable working place is provided by a well-ventilated cabin. The cabin combines high performance with fatigue-free work. The powerful heating and air conditioning system helps make sure that the operator has a comfortable interior. The cab was ergonomically designed to provide a bird's eye view of all of the controls, in addition to the overall safety of the unit. A CD player and an MP3 player put the finishing touches on providing the nice atmosphere that Hyundai machinery are reputed to have.
