Specifications of Clark Forklifts
Types
Clark makes a range of forklift trucks like narrow aisles, pneumatic trucks and cushion trucks. The various types differ when it comes to the way they are powered. Like for example, heavy-duty forklifts used for agriculture and construction run on an internal combustion or IC engine. Narrow aisle types designed to be utilized in warehouses and other confined spaces run on rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks varies based on the kind. Battery-powered forklifts have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the model. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion kinds are suggested. They can carry from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
Clark electrically-powered forklift trucks run on AC battery cells, either 36 volt or 48 volt. The internal combustible engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion kinds have automatic transmission with single-speed, two-speed or three-speed types.
Frame/Cab
The frame/cab assembly is in the center of the forklift and includes overhead protective cover for the operator, the seat and controls. The frame includes the engine, fuel tank, transmission, trans-axle and wheels.
